Directed to the three levels of Erasmus+ Programme management - European, national and institutional, the recommendations aim to provide each stakeholder with an action framework to help them transform the Erasmus+ mobility activities into more environmentally friendly ones.

This resource is the second version of the Guidelines for Inclusive Mobility Promotion, originally released in the first quarter of 2021. It has been updated based on the feedback received at a workshop on social inclusion that took place in November 2021.

The recommendations propose a set of concrete changes to the documents involved in the organisation of Erasmus+ mobilities. They target the European Commission, Erasmus+ National Agencies, Higher Education Institutions and other policymakers and stakeholders interested in Erasmus+ and mobility programmes.

The guidelines outline the EGG’s consortium understanding of environmentally sustainable Erasmus+ partnerships. Their aim is to assist HEIs and other organisations taking part in transnational cooperation projects and partnerships funded through KA2 or KA3 in this direction.

This handbook helps students to make more conscious and environmentally-friendly decisions regarding their means of transport when going on mobility abroad, giving them the means to visualise their CO2 footprint, minimise it and eventually offset it.
